FMXLinux now available for Embarcadero customers
Blog|by Leanne Bevan|27 June 2019
Embarcadero has announced that RAD Studio and Delphi users with an active subscription to the Enterprise and Architect editions can use FMXLinux to build FireMonkey applications targeting the Linux 64-bit platform. This is thanks to a new OEM distribution agreement.
What’s great about this, is that you can add a Linux platform to an existing FireMonkey app, or of course build a brand new one. You can build client applications for companies that are adopting Linux clients, as well as for self-service kiosks (computers that run a single app full screen).
Read the full press release here.
You can download the add-in from GetIt in the 10.3.1 version of Delphi and RAD Studio. If you don’t have Update Subscription, you can buy a new RAD Studio or Delphi Architect/Enterprise licence here.
